Ciao.

My fav chair – not only on Easter
Maria
eheh…I agree with you, even if I can’t chose between these and the Eames Shell Molded Plastic Chair.
I’m a simple guy in the end
Thanks for reading and ciao!
Happy Easter!
My terrible secret is that I actually find the egg chair quite uncomfortable…it is very beautiful though!
Happy Easter to you too!
Hmm….do you know that I only have a rule in my blog? Never put the words ‘Egg Chair’ and ‘uncomfortable’ in the same sentence! LOL
See you soon around here.
Ciao!
Haha, it’s sacrilege, I know! I sat in one for the first time about a year ago, although it was a leather model.
Maybe you should try it one more time…
Which is your favorite Mid-Century chair, then?
Ciao!
Well, I’m lucky to have inherited a vintage Wegner Papa Bear armchair from my grandparents and can vouch that that one is incredibly comfortable. I would also love to own an Eames recliner and bet that one is comfy as well. Also want a Swan chair. Clearly I need to win the lottery several times!
…ahah…plus you need an airport hall to host all these -big- chairs!
Do you have any pics of your ‘Bear’? Once I seat on one and I found it extremely comfy…until I heard the crazy price
Ciao!
You can see pictures of it here:

It needs to be reupholstered very urgently, I’m currently saving up for it (so expensive!)
How nice!
It’s amazing to have a piece of furniture with these such nice family memories. It’s rare.
I would go for a fabric closest possible to the original one. Think to it as an investment, it worths the money!
Thanks for sharing your chair and story, really appreciated.
Ciao.
